FINALLY!! It's finished!!

This has taken MONTHS to finishe, though other paintings and commissions propping up, and then a broken airbrush etc etc. But this is finally done.

Acrylic on canvas, painted and airbrushed-- actual size is 4ft tall.

(Sorry about the quality of the larger size, I had to photograph the actual painting *sigh*)

Its really cool how your Sanctuary for none resembles the real Sanctuary for none! Had to think of your painting while I was watching SfN2 ^.^

I know! most of it I expected to happen.. but that parts were still quite not-nice-to-watch -.-
at least Amanda doesn't believe Biggie's gone, so that gives me hope. but however more useful the underground sanctuary is, I still love the old cathedral and I'm sad. :(

Yeah, I half expected some of it, but not all. I didn't think the Sanctuary would be blown up though!! I agree, I will miss that beautiful building. The new one didn't look half as interesting, and it was one of the things that attracted me to the show. It was just do 'Magnus' too!

I dearly hope Biggie is still going to be around. What with the (probable) demise of John, it would be a shame to loose Heyerdahl completely (plus I kind'a have a crush on him!)

Are you going to AT6 at all this year?

I expected the Sactuary to be destroyed, although being completely blown up by Magnus herself wasn't exactly on my list.
The new one looks beautiful (especially that lanscape) so far, but I can't imagine it could be as homely and mysterious (and at the same time!) as the Old City one was.

I hope they bring back CH, too. He's awsome. With any luck part of John could have survived because of that Electro-creature-thing.

It would be so great do go to AT6, but it's kinda expensive to travel and stay there so I really don't know. Are you going? (And do you have an idea till when they usually have tickets before they're sold out?)

You see? I'm not all that enamoured with the new one.....I guess I'll just have to watch the ep again and see, bufirst impressions weren;t all that hot tbh. Hmmm, we'll see tho. The Old City one was just so 'Magnus' it was cool, really added to the character (esp. in season 1). But I guess all things have to develop and change to keep the show so good.

Again, I need to watch the ep again, but wasn't there an 'omg' moment from Magnus just as the Sanctuary blew up? With only half the jacket on too- I'm thinking John came and rescued her. (At least I can wish!)

I am going to AT6 indeed, although I understand about the costs involved. Its my first time, and I don't usually do stuff like this, so I thought give it a go, at least one. I'm really ussure about any of the tickets tbh, I guess you can get in contact with the organisers through the website. Would be cool to meet even more new people!

*gg* yeah, I can understand your ides about John rescuing her.. even if I can't imagine that myself.. but I'm not even a Magnitt-shipper, so I hope that excuses me^^

Soo, I spend some time thinking about AT6, but now that I know that Teryl Rothery, Joe Flanigan *and* RDA are coming to Germany this summer at a Weekend I even know already that I'm going to have time, I'm quite sure I'll go to that con..
Hopefully I'll meet Amanda another time :)
That would be my first con, too, until now I'm only participated in fan-meetings with musical actors.. (only between 10 and 300 people.. ;)).

*grin* So I'm not mad then??! lol! I'm not purely a Magnitt fan (saything that, I'm not sure I ship anything exclusively in Sanctuary tbh) I just really liked John's character (and Christopher Heyerdahl) and think there is still much to be explored with him.

Ahhh riiiight. Yeah, I can kind'a understand you wanting to go to that one instead. I'm sure you'll have to oppertunity to meet Amanda another time. I am jealous of you seeing RDA tho. Hope you enjoy for first experience!

Many thanks for taking the time to look and comment. Hopefully there should be some more Sanctuary art from me in the new year-- got a few more ideas!
